When you search/enter a keyword in the unified bar in Safari on the iPhone or iPad, you should see a ‘Top-Hit’. Safari has the capability to preload top-hit results so that when you tap on it, the result links open faster. Technically, this is a very useful feature when you’re searching.
When you begin typing in the box you’ll notice iOS suggests Top Hits for Web sites and popular searches based on the string of text entered. Not seen below the keyboard in the screenshot above is the suggested pages from your browsing history, also based on the entered text.
