#275Lasting from issue #323 to the end of the series in issue #350, it’s notable for being very long, as well as ending the Barry Allen run of the Flash as a lead-in to Crisis on Infinite Earths. The story had its genesis in Flash (vol. 1) #275, when Barry’s evil counterpart, the Reverse-Flash, killed his wife Iris.
Iris, who technically died in Season 3 at the hands of Savitar and was saved by HR Wells, will probably not die in Season 7 — even though things look bleak for her.
Unfortunately, Zoom’s obsession with Barry and Iris did not abate. He finally cornered Iris and tried to hypnotically convince her to marry him instead. When his plan failed, he resorted to murdering Iris in cold blood (THE FLASH #275, 1979). Thankfully, her death didn’t take.
At a speed too fast to be seen on camera, Reverse Flash entered the kitchen and killed Iris by vibrating his hand through her brain. When the drugged Barry entered the kitchen, he was unable to use his speed, so he couldn’t see Thawne in the room.
Harrison Wells was never the Reverse Flash. In Earth 1, Eobard Thawne (Reverse Flash) used a device from the future, referred to as a Genetic Camouflage by the shows executive producer, to take the identity of Harrison Wells by copying his DNA.
The correct answer is that it is because he draws power from the “Negative Speed Force.” When he draws power from this “Negative Speed Force” he is able to turn his eyes red.
But still, we are a couple of episodes away from the season finale, and it is yet to be known if Iris will get pregnant in season 7. … Earlier in 2019, the actress had shared pictures of herself on social media sporting a baby bump, but she clarified in the caption itself that she was not pregnant in real life.
Iris told Francine she did not hate her anymore and only wished that she and Wally would have re-entered her and Joe’s lives sooner, forgiving her before tearfully leaving the room. Iris later convinced Wally to go say goodbye to his mother and he asked her to go with him. Francine passed away soon after.
And as part of Eobard Thawne’s longstanding vendetta against the Scarlet Speedster, the Reverse-Flash has engineered the latest Arrowverse crossover event “Armageddon,” effectively creating a new timeline where he was celebrated as the Flash while Barry was this reality’s Reverse-Flash.
Nora grew irritated when her mother still insisted she stay away from Spencer and revealed they’re estranged in the future because Iris secretly implanted a power-dampening chip in Nora when she was young to suppress her superspeed, which the former didn’t discover until six months ago.
Francine WestFrancine West (died January 2016) was the wife of the late Joe West and the mother of Iris and Wally West.
To make matters worse, Iris was missing from The Flash episode focusing on her possible pregnancy. This was systematic of the treatment of all of Team Citizen’s membership, with all of the women working at the Central City Citizen being completely defined by their relationships to male characters.
