After the titanium arm initially given to Barnes by HYDRA was destroyed by Iron Man in 2016, he was given a vibranium replacement by T’Challa during the Infinity War of 2018.

So we usually have to replace the arm and visual effects.
It’s possible that the mechanism was unique to Bucky’s arm, and put in place as an extra precaution. That after everything he’s done for the world, the Wakandans never truly trusted him. It’s even possible that the Wakandans never considered the arm his. It is, after all, made of Vibranium.
Without them however, he doesn’t seem as strong as Captain America. Cap’s best lifting feat or pulling if you will was the helicopter scene which proves that he can bicep curl 3500 lbs on each arm.
The Winter Soldier’s Prosthetic Arm is a cybernetic implant attached to Bucky Barnes’s body to be used in place of his missing left arm. The original arm was designed by HYDRA. It was comprised of titanium and destroyed by Iron Man. A new arm was built for Bucky by Shuri in Wakanda comprised of Vibranium.
During The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 4, Bucky and Sam come into the conflict with the Dora Milaje over Baron Zemo. Bucky is quickly taken out of action by Ayo, who uses a secret failsafe to immediately deactivate and detach the arm, much to the shock and horror of the former Winter Soldier.
A replacement for the robotic prosthetic which was destroyed at the end of Captain America: Civil War, Bucky’s new Vibranium arm is stronger, more resilient, and a substantial upgrade from his original Winter Soldier prosthetic.
It was previously heavily implied that the original arm he was given as the Winter Soldier was also waterproof. At the end of Captain America and the Winter Soldier, Bucky dives into the Potomac River to save Steve Rogers, dragging him from the water with the use of his arm.
Iron Man definitely should have won that fight against Cap and Bucky, in terms of sheer power. We see this very clearly: in its culmination, Tony manages to rip Bucky’s arm off and still neutralize Cap, even after having taken a significant beating from them.
Bucky’s Arm Has Black Panther’s Most Impressive Power That includes the ability to not only absorb energy, but turn it back against the opponent. Effectively harnessing kinetic energy and then unleashing it, this proved very handy for T’Challa, and was also a feature of Killmonger’s stolen suit.
Bucky has “never” defeated Captain America. If it burns down to a fight, the winner would clearly be Captain America most of the time. It takes more than a bionic arm and little of juice of the Super-Soldier serum to defeat Captain America.
Bucky and Cap are peak humans who bench around 2000 pounds, a ton, according to most comics that touch on the matter. Spidey lifts 20,000, 10 tons. Spider-Man is by far stronger than the other two.
Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes, is portrayed by Sebastian Stan in the MCU with a height of 6’0″ (1.83 m). The comic book height of Bucky Barnes is 5’9” (1.75 m). Bucky Barnes, also known as Winter Soldier, is a fictional anti-hero in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the extended Marvel franchise.
James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes was born in 1925. In 1935, he tragically lost both of his parents early in his life, his mother, Winnifred Barnes had died when he was a child and his father, George Barnes had died in an accident while in basic training at Camp Lehigh.
2 Iron-Man Of course, this is the man who is actually able to defeat Thanos in the end, sacrificing himself in order to kill him. He loses his own life to do that, proving just how unselfish he is at his core, with Iron-Man’s power and strength of character being the overwhelming power for him.
Though Iron Man survived the fight, things could have gone much better for him had he had the chance to plan and come up with a strategy. Bucky loses his arm but he and Cap walk away from the fight, while a bloodied Iron Man is left on the ground. However, Iron Man could have won the battle if he had more of a plan.
Cap has shown exceptional strength in the MCU, even surpassing most of his comic-book portrayals. Bucky is also enhanced, but he is slightly weaker than Cap. T’Challa is likely just a little stronger than Bucky, but Bucky’s arm is a decisive factor that boosts his rating just above T’Challa.
