Jemaine Clement is the voice of Fart in Rick and Morty.
In 2015, Clement voiced a “mind-reading fart” on an episode of the Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty, where he performed the song “Goodbye Moonmen”.

Ultimately, Morty is forced to kill Fart himself because the cloud intends to destroy “all carbon-based life forms.” He does the deed with the very same anti-matter gun he chastised Rick for selling to begin with. Rick’s approach to life is to participate wholeheartedly, indulgently, and without remorse.
Fart was not referred to as a hero, but it was an anti-heroic villain, intent on accomplishing his goal of cleansing the universe of carbon-based life.

Disney’s Moana—the animated musical-adventure about a Polynesian chief’s daughter chosen by the ocean to reunite the goddess Te Fiti with a mythical stone—was a beautiful celebration of indigenous New Zealand culture.
Trivia. Goodbye Moonmen is most likely sung as a parody/tribute in the style of musical artist David Bowie. Goodbye Moonmen is written in the same key and uses many of the same chord progressions as Debussy’s Clair De Lune which could be a possible reference seeing as how Clair De Lune is written about the moon.

In the South Pacific-set, Disney film penned by Taika Waititi, Clement lends his voice to the character Tamatoa, a self-absorbed and greedy monster crab. Jemaine Clement is said to have channelled his inner David Bowie to bring his latest Disney character,a crab in Moana, to life.
Background. Tamatoa is a gargantuan coconut crab that hails from Lalotai, a realm inhabited by monsters. During one of their battles, Maui ripped off one of Tamatoa’s legs which, according to Maui, plays a part in the giant crab’s hatred for him.
The current Jerry on Rick and Morty isn’t the original Jerry or even Jerry from the Replacement Dimension after “Rick Potion No. 9”. Rick accidentally grabbed the wrong one in “Mortynight Run” after a different Rick grabbed Morty’s lost ticket and no one has noticed or cared in the more than two seasons since.
